Darcus

Born in Kansas City Mo. raised in Los Angeles 

Early musical instincts were discovered by her mother who was an Opera Singer.

Darcus was encouraged to take piano lesson at the  age of five followed by violin, clarinet, and drums. Later attending the Conservatory of Music in Toledo Ohio,

Darcus returned to Los Angeles to began private study under the direction of Ina Zan.

Darcus Began recording demos for many song writers and producers. 

 

Darcus has sung backgrounds for artist such as, Johnny Mathis, James Ingram Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson and many others.

 

Darcus has performed the National Anthem at Worldwide Sporting events Including Five Title Boxing Matches

Best R&B Female Performer and Vocalist

Las Vegas Strip Living Legend Award                                                                                             

Darcus is a 2023 Emmy Award winner for her performance on “People Get Ready” Legends For St. Jude’s
